A passable rip-off of Mega Man that borrows ideas from Metroid back in the days of the NES, but nowhere near as challenging as either game. Once I got the 5-way shot, the game was even easier; to the point of being broken. Speaking of broken: now that I've collected almost all the items and abilities (only 2 left), I can no longer progress past a specific map on Drought Bot's stage without the game crashing. Decent game for what it is, but dont expect to be blown away or see anything new.

Thanks for trying it. Sorry about the crash. I've submitted a fix to the Play Store, so it should be published soon. If you want to try it more before then, go to the menu and disable "Upgrade bolt usage hints". Or try to clear the enemies without hitting the door. That should avoid the bug. Thanks for reporting it!

+Lightweight; +No ads; +No microtransactions; +Offline; +Large buttons; +Decent graphics; +Toggleable difficulty options | -Basic, harsh-sounding music; -Awkward movement, not great for a touch screen; -Simultaneously jumping & shooting requires fast thumbs and immense patience; -Small sprites, often hard to hit; -No controller support. | Keep doing what you're doing, Pandcorps; you've got talent. Everybody else, avoid pressing the "power" option when you pause. It restarts my phone.

This game has potential to good, as it is the music is headache inducing the jump feels like butter some of the stages are to long and the character design are hit and miss and there is no penalty for getting hit other than losing a hundredth of your health. On the other hand the pixeart on most of the stages is amazing. And it reminds me alot of mega man 2 in terms of gameplay as I said it has potential and I would love to review it again and give it 5 stars one day.

What's new

Fixed graphical bugs (like trying to place buttons past the edge of the screen) on some devices.
Fixed missing sound effects on some devices.
Sometimes it was hard to find power-ups, and it was unclear that the power-ups were necessary to reach the later levels. Now the game guides the player so that it's easier to find the power-ups (but players can still disable automatic level selection if they prefer to explore without this guidance).
