About this game

The app is a simulation of the original Lights Out electronic device manufactured in the '90s by now defunct Tigers Electronic. The game consists of a 5 x 5 light matrix. By pressing on a light, it will toggle on or off along with those that are adjacent.

Goal
When the game starts for the first time, a light in the upper left corner will be on indicating that the first puzzle is ready to be loaded. Press on Start to load the puzzle and start the game. Press on the lights of your choices and try to turn all lights off. Once you've succeeded, the screen will flash: touch Start again to start the second round. The app comes preloaded with more than 500 puzzles.

Ending the game
You can end the game at any time by touching the On/Off button twice as a security measure. The current game is preserved until the next time.

Create your own puzzle
Touch Select to illuminate the third light. Next press Start. The light will turn off and you can now press on the lights of your choice and create your puzzle. When done, touch Start to start the game.

I used to LOVE my Lights Out game when I was a kid and it's totally made my day that I've found this!! It even has the right sounds! The only thing that would make it better is that the original game used to tell you if you had done the puzzle in the least possible moves by doing the lights in a spiral, and then how many moves over it you were if you didn't (up to 10 over). It would be so cool if this had that too!

This is great and they are always solvable. You might not figure out a nice and pretty quick solve but you can always find familiar patterns and solve it the long way. Don't listen to anyone saying otherwise. Just like the old one I played in 1999 or 2000.

Just like the original. The same puzzles are included. The only difference I can see is level 3 doesn't allow you to make your own puzzles but it's great none the less.
