Was that REALLY Mark?!

Take That took to the Strictly Come Dancing floor last night (18th Nov) to perform their brand new single, 'Out Of Our Heads'. And although fans were happy enough with the band's singing, there was one thing about their performance that was completely distracting.

Mark Owen, who is well known for his vibrant fashion sense and differing looks through the years, caught the attention of most viewers - because he looked so different that they barely recognised him.

Taking to the Strictly dancefloor with Gary Barlow and Howard Donald, fans of the band were shocked by Mark's scraped-back 'man bun' and unshaven beard, as most fans are used to seeing him with a hairless chin and a volumised quiff.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their confusion over Mark's new look, with one writing, 'Mark Owen with a man bun wasn’t something I was expecting to experience ever.' Another added, 'I don’t know what to say about Mark’s new look, he looks like Keith Lemon' as one questioned, 'Err...what happened to Mark Owen?'

A Star Wars fan joked, 'I appreciate I haven’t kept up with the Take That line-up in a while, but when did Qui-Gon Jinn replace Mark Owen?' and one other likened him to Radiohead lead singer, Thom Yorke, 'You never see Mark Owen and Thom Yorke together in the same room, do you?'

Although Mark didn't respond directly to the conversation around his new look, he did seem to reference it in a light-hearted Instagram post about their performance.

Posting a Boomerang video of the band and their backing dancers jumping up and down during their Strictly performance, Mark wrote, 'Jump up and down if you enjoyed it... jump up and down if you didn’t...'

The post was inundated with supportive messages from fans who loved the performance, with many writing that they 'loved it.'
