Ant Anstead Makes Rare Mention of Home with Girlfriend Renée Zellweger on Social Media

Ant Anstead is sharing a rare glimpse into his home life with girlfriend Renée Zellweger.

The Celebrity IOU: Joyride host, 44, made a reference to the Southern California home he shares with his Oscar-winning girlfriend, 54, in an Instagram comment on Monday. The comment was made after a friend visited the couple and shared a few photos from her trip, thanking Anstead for his hospitality in the caption. 

In his comment, Anstead wrote: “Come back already!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸 Cali calls for you! Ren and I have the spare room poised x.” 

Though the British born car expert and the Bridget Jones's Diary actress tend to keep the details of their relationship out of the spotlight, Anstead re-shared his friend’s post to his Instagram Story and added in the caption, “Ren and I loved having you over….. Now hurry up and come back to Cali! X”

Anstead and Zellweger have been in a relationship for nearly three years after first meeting on the set of Anstead’s discovery+ show Celebrity IOU Joyride in April 2021. The couple are also coming up on one year of officially living together. 

In April 2023, a source revealed to PEOPLE that the pair had "found a house that they both love and are moving in together." 

"They are very happy and in love. They have tried to keep their relationship private and low-key because of Hudson," the source added, referring to Anstead's 4-year-old son, whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall. He also shares daughter Amelie, 20, and son Archie, 17, with his first wife Louise Storey. 

All three of his children have met and enjoy spending time with Zellweger, Ant previously shared.

Before their move was confirmed, Anstead hinted at a major change in his personal life that led him to sell his beloved home, dubbed Temple House, in Laguna Beach, Calif.

"Temple is sold," he confirmed to PEOPLE, adding that the off-market sale "came at the right time, for another property and a change in my personal life that I'm really pleased about. So I was like, yeah. I made the call there and then."

While Anstead did not disclose his new house's location, he previously told PEOPLE, "I'm going to absolutely keep a base in and around Laguna" as it’s “a special place.”
