Salma Hayek shares the truth behind her ‘liberating’ bikini photos

Don’t expect to see Salma Hayek wearing a tiny two-piece on the daily.

The “Frida” star, 54, revealed to “Entertainment Tonight” that the many “liberating” bikini-clad Instagram photos she’s been sharing lately are all from the same tropical getaway.

“I had to lose a lot of weight and exercise to get into the bikini towards the end of last year,” she said.

“I’m glad I took a lot of pictures, I have no shame on it, because it was the first week of the vacation. But after that first week and when I heard that everybody was going back into quarantine, I started eating again.”

Hayek said she “saved” those photos — likely from her stay at the Soneva Fushi hotel in the Maldives — and has since been “spreading the love out like every two weeks,” most recently posting shots in a fringe one-piece and a brown halter-style bikini.

“People are sick of it but I’m going to let them take a break,” she joked of her swimsuit snaps. “They’re going to think I’m wearing a bikini every day. No, they’re all from the same location.”

Plus, Hayek added, “I’m almost running out of them.”
