This super rich life is not so secret.
One of the most powerful women in finance, Rebecca Patterson, a leader of investor research at Ray Dalio’s Bridgewater, and her husband, CNBC’s Robert Frank, have just plunked down $11.5 million for a sprawling residence at 1021 Park Ave. in an off market deal, according to city property records.
Patterson invests the fortunes of one percenters, while Frank showcases their wealth in his show, “Secret Lives of the Super Rich.”
The couple met while they were both working as journalists.
While there are no public details about the unit, a similar duplex in the building comes with a stunning staircase, private elevator, woodburning fireplace and wood paneled library. The building was designed by Rosario Candela in 1929.
“The apartment has great bones but will need a thorough renovation,” said a source familiar with the unit. “Just imagine the cost!”
Last March, the couple sold their penthouse unit at 73 Fifth Ave. in another off market deal for $7.25 million.
“Savvy buyers like Robert and Rebecca are literally doubling down on square feet and purchase price,” added broker Dolly Lenz, who has worked with Frank closely on the show. “This is a great sign for New York City’s future and the overall residential market.”
