• Father, Daniel III, is a 1990 graduate of Davidson College where he was a member of the golf team

• In 2018, mentored underprivileged youth multiple times a week through reading, writing, and sports activities via I Am 24/7
• In the spring of 2021, helped the Preface Project by tutoring and teaching young children how to develop reading skills.
