The flamenco dancer María Pagés set up her dance company, the Compañía María Pagés, in 1990 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Their first production in 1990 was Sol y Sombra. She will be travelling the world with her dance company performing some of her most successful shows: Flamenco Republic, Sevilla and Autorretrato.

As well as these productions, the María Pagés presented a new show called Miradas, which was premièred on 29 June 2010 in the Teatro de la Maestranza, Seville. Manuel de los Galanes has taken the stunning photographs, which you can see if you click on the Miradas link above. 

María Pagés will be presenting her show called Autorretrato (Self-Portrait) at the Teatre Poliorama in Barcelona starting on 31 August until 19 September 2010. This show was premièred in Tokyo on 2008 and has been received critical acclaim ever since.
