What is Mito exactly?
The Injective blockchain has been gaining popularity over the last few months. The ecosystem has been growing and thus attracting new investors and developers.
With over 325 000 followers on Twitter and more than 135 000 Discord members, the community is stronger than ever.
Being part of the ninja community is awesome. So many helpful and creative people and projects around.. Certainly since NFT’s are live on the Injective L1 blockchain. I’ll name a few interesting projects further down the article.
But first dive into Injective's platform ‘Mito’ and see what all the hype is about..

What is Mito
Mito [/ˈmai.toh/] offers a suite of advanced decentralized products helping individuals and other protocols earn yield on their digital assets by giving them the ability to subscribe to vaults. Each vault has a strategy provider. These strategy providers offer a diverse range of trading strategies, such as market making or cross exchange arbitrage, that cater to the varying needs and preferences of users.
Overall, Mito Finance is a flexible and dynamic platform that caters to the varied investment needs of its users.
Let’s try to reformulate that in a way it’s easier to understand if you are not so familiar with the terms used in the definition from the docs.
Mito [/ˈmai.toh/] offers a suite of advanced decentralized products helping individuals and other protocols earn yield on their digital assets by giving them the ability to subscribe to vaults.
So what Mito does, is help individuals (people, persons, you and me) and other protocols (anything on Injective’s ecosystem basically) to earn yield (profit) on their digital assets (coins) by subscribing (locking) them in decentralized vaults (secure and verified smart contracts without an ‘owner’).
Each vault has a strategy provider. These strategy providers offer a diverse range of trading strategies, such as market making or cross exchange arbitrage, that cater to the varying needs and preferences of users.
Each vault has a strategy provider on-chain (smart contract) or off-chain. They will also define the fee’s to the vault.
These trading strategies can be market making (providing liquidity) or arbitrage between exchanges for example.
The strategies can be tailored to the needs and preferences of the users.
Overall, Mito Finance is a flexible and dynamic platform that caters to the varied investment needs of its users.
The main part to take from this is that Mito Finance will stay flexible and adaptable to the needs of its users and the market conditions. In a decentralized way.
Oh yeah.. You’ll also be able to swap through Mito!
Now that we know what Mito is, we can start looking at how to make use of this awesome platform.
Well hate to disappoint you but Mito is still in testnet phase.. Only Ninja Pass holders have access for now. But the early access for people without the pass the testnet will open up in the coming weeks.
To be able to join the early access for Mito you need to complete a few steps:
- Make sure to follow @Injective_ on Twitter.
- Also follow @MitoFinance on Twitter.
- Join the Injective Discord https://discord.gg/injective.
- Join the Injective Guild https://guild.xyz/injective.
- Follow Injective on Galxe https://galxe.com/injective.
You’ll need to verify your roles on discord in the early-access-roles channel once you have completed the necessary quests and collected the needed OAT’s to gain access.
Once you get the ‘Early Access’ role in discord you are good to go for when the testnet opens up.

TESTNET IS ONLY LIVE FOR NINJA PASS HOLDERS AT THIS TIME. EARLY ACCESS ROLE HOLDERS WILL BE ABLE TO TEST MITO IN THE COMING WEEKS.
