The Hawai‘i Gender ECHO Program was created to expand access to gender-affirming care for keiki (youth) in Hawai‘i.

Using the ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) model, the Hawai'i Gender ECHO Program (G-ECHO) is working to cultivate connections with providers in the community and offer ongoing learning opportunities for professionals who work with gender-expansive youth.

Supported by philanthropy, G-ECHO is expanding access to gender-affirming care for youth through trainings for Hawai‘i-based healthcare providers, creating a network of affirming providers, and identifying referral pathways to make care more accessible.
