First time here. Went through the drive-thru, ordered potato egg and bacon egg taco. The potato egg didn't have no flavor and I think it's because it's been sitting for a while in a steam table and the tortilla look like it had been reheated two times. In other words it didn't look fresh, same thing with the bacon and egg. To top it off it the food wasn't warm or hot. Needless to say not going there anymore.

I had a great experience. The food is generous. They have regular customers, of which I am now one of them. The owner is very nice, as well.

This inviting comfortable atmosphere starts the experience off just right . The food is good solid Norteño style (not Tex Mex) for tourists visiting San Antonio this is a solid dining experience if you waNt authentic and well worth the trek outside of the downtown area.... very affordable!

Enjoy good food with nice background music (this morning it was cumbia music!) The flour tortillas are hand-rolled, not store bought, & the corn tortillas are great! The tables are roomy & the atmosphere lends itself to wholesome conversation. The waitresses (Bertha, Jessica, Meredith, & Paula) will keep checking to see if you need anything. You gotta check out this place! If you like it, you'll return!

Reasonably priced Tex Mex on the Southside.
This place has lots of lunch specials, reasonably priced, about a dozen different options that come with sweet tea, and are prepared quickly.
The service was extremely slow. It took quite some time to flag down a waitress to get an order in, and once my food was delivered, I never saw them again.
The food was served with huge portions. I got the chicken fajitas, which were greasy, and served with onions and bell peppers. The rice and beans that came with it were mediocre at best. The tortillas were served piping hot. The salsa was green, weak and watery. It lacked punch.
The restaurant was fairly clean, and the interior was interesting. There's a bunch of Mexican beer advertisements that serve as decor.
Parking was easy, with a large dedicated lot in the back.
Mediocre food and slow service means that there are better places for tacos on the Southside.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Stephen H.San Antonio, TX1545Dec 2, 2018
Food was pretty good the handmade corn tortillas were excellent but probably the best part of my lunch plate was the Spanish rice.. for me the service was pretty good.

My compliments to the chef! Our food was good, but the service has some room for improvement.

Found myself on the southside on Halloween morning n was looking for a place for breakfast. Pulled up my Yelp app n found another place but they didnt take plastic. So wouldnt you know it, there was another taco place right across the street!! Well this place was pretty good. Food was as good as youd expect for the southside. Should you drive an hour out of your way to get here to eat? Probably not. But if you ever find yourself hungry on the southside its worth the stop. 3 out of 5 southside forks.

Honestly one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Owners are so nice and caring! Service is great. Waitresses always checking on you and making sure you're ok. Food is real and authentic! Tortillas are so good.
