El Herradero Mexican Grill

Their salsa is absolutely my favorite salsa on the planet.

We've been here several times, and I like the vaca bandida. However, the men in the family always have a burrito California. Fajitas are always good, too.

The only negative experience we ever had was one time when we were seated in the bar. There was loud rap music playing, and they forgot about us. I just make sure we don't get seated there again.

Came in for lunch on s Monday. The place was empty at 1pm, but my lunch, the Chile Verde Burrito with rice and beans, was awesome. I'll definitely be back.

Bad food, bad service.
Don't get the taco salad.
The atmosphere has change so much , we go there all the time and probably not going back.
They talk in Spanish and we understand what they say. Not good business.

I often call this establishment to order lunch and have enjoyed dinner here as well . I have no complaint about the food itself.

HOWEVER CARRY-OUT DINERS BEWARE: The restaurant offers lunch portions with altered pricing. I have noticed in the last 6 months that no matter what I ask for when I call to place my order at lunch I am charged dinner prices but receive lunch portions. When I asked the cashier why I am being charged dinner prices I was told that "its our policy for carry-out"

I already paid extra so that myself and my coworker could have our own bag of chips... if you place the orders separate you would get a bag of chips in each order.

SO BASICALLY WILL RIP YOU OFF IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE

We love El Herradero! Carlos does an amazing job for our community. Best Mexican food in town!

Save your money! I'm not sure if it's what we ordered or if it was the time of day but it was terrible. Mexican restaurants here just can't seem to get it right. The quality and quantity is very mediocre. Tried it twice with months in between and yea we were right the first time. Trash.

Service was really good. My fish and shrimp had absolutely no flavor at all. My daughter had a spicy burrito and loved it. Maybe I'll try something different if I'm in the area again.

Servers are nice, food is really good. There are plenty of choices on the menu. You can't go wrong here.

This was hit & miss for us. 6 of us ate there last night.
The menu could be better arranged, for example salads had a spot in front but other salads were found in places throughout the menu.
Salsa is plain and runny, needs chunks. Cheese sauce is a plain and a bit runny
Guac is excellent, lumpy & delicious!
Most the dishes had rice & beans - beans are pureed however the rice was better than others
Beer selection- need to get some interesting beer
Herradero special - Tamale was ok, enchilada was ok, taco ok
Pollo a la Vallarta- A bit over salted, shrimp was cooked perfect, chicKen was fine.
ChicKen strips were good, fries large and done well many more than can eat.
ChicKen fajita - very good and nice serving.
Spinach enchilada - excellent! A nice serving of spinach covered with the cheese sauce. Delicious.
Look at the specials- Monday was 20% off for us.
Service was quick and attentive.

WHHHHAAATTT THEEEE. F*****K!! This place is amazing. I had the Fajitas and they were the best I've ever had. My buddy had the meat bowl "Fajitas Locco". He was stuffed and still had 2/3'd of the bowl left. Even the salsa was good. A hidden Gem for sure!
