Cool little market/carneceria. I came for red menudo, but only white today. So I got some pork and beef carnitas with some tripe. I was hoping for a salsa bar, but no such luck. I bought a 1/2 pint of salsa and got some locally made tortillas. The counter service was fast and friendly. They appreciated my attempts to speak Spanish. It all ran about $18 for 3/4 lb of meat, salsa, cheese and tortillas. This is a good spot for a carneceria.

El Herradero is a very bad neighbor! They litter trash on a daily basis - their dumpsters are overflowing, trash at their outdoor grill they do not pick up, they dispose of grease illegally. This occurs regularly - causing debris to flow the the neighborhood all the time. We wish they would respect the community they work in by cleaning up after themselves like a self-respecting business would.

They say they're open till 8pm but i got here at 7:50 and they are closed and they are inside. If you guys aren't gonna be open till 8 don't put that on the sign. Especially making sure the phone is on busy after we called.

Drove in from Cali and wanted to buy some good carne asada for my father in law. Stopped at this spot and bought the Ranchera preparada, salsa, queso fresco and tortillas and veggies to make salpicon. Since it was so hot we decided to grill on a George Foreman grill inside I thought nope bad idea... but after all the meat ended up being very tender. I chopped all of it and made bomb street tacos with guacamole and pico de gallo and They all loved it. Meat was perfect and everyone was really nice. Definitely stopping by again. Also they have Carnitas, Buche and Tripas cooked and ready to eat.

This place is a gem, and I don't want to talk to much about it because it risks to be discovered by too many people....
The meat selection is great, you can actually see different cuts and their names in spanish for the right recipe.
The mini market is clean and offers the tiniest delicious limons , limes from Mexico with the best taste, they have veggies, Tamales and a delicious selection of baked goods that make me want to go back right now!!!!
I don't want supermarket meat, I want Carniceria EL Herraderro or nothing!
The staff is so lovely, I had a lots of goods to bring back to my car and the lovely cashier helped me carry my goods and was charming and engaging . Lovely people.

Are you kidding me?! This place is incredible!!! I am new to the world of Carnicerias. The Mexican butcher shop! A place to get real Mexican food. A huge variety of great cuts of meat including chorizo and sausages. Hand made flower tortillas?! Yep! A whole section of them from different vendors. Rice and beans ready to go. Just heat up and serve. Tamales. A whole section for snacks. Also a nice bakery. I fell in love with this place immediately.

Nice little store. Everything looks fresh and the store is very clean. We were traveling through and decided to look for a Mexican bakery. We are happy to have found this store, as we got some pastries and snacks for the road that included freshly cooked tomales, cold drinks, fresh salsa and chips, as well as an apple covered in Tajin. Yum!
