The Central Ave branch is pretty great. However I'd like to make a suggestion for the other branches. Increase the time you are open for the drive-thru. I happen to live in Laurel and it is as inconvenient as they come, open too late to hit before work and closed same time as most would be off from work. How exactly is a person supposed to visit their money?

What an absolutely awful experience and waste of time... Altana FCU epitomizes everything that's wrong with greedy corporate financial institutions.

Not only did Altana fail to communicate critical changes to our home loan that resulted in us selling our family home and becoming homeless (for a short stint some years ago), they wanted me to pay for 15 years of interest on an old loan without due consideration of the difficult situation they caused.

The management treated me like a number and not a person. Policies are NOT rules. I won't give them any of my business now, even if they paid me.

Go to Stockman Bank if you want, your banking needs met. Altana will find every way possible to charge you fees, starting with their app and the ability to make deposits not ever working.

One of the best decisions we made when leaving Montana :( was to keep our accounts at Altana Federal Credit Union. Carissa at the 24th street location as well as anyone else I've worked with at Altana provide amazing customer service. They treat you like they would want to be treated, with patience and kindness and I cannot say enough about the exemplary customer service at Altana! Bank there if you want to be treated like a person and not a number.

In my opinion i'm so sick of these idiots messing up my account. I have been on the phone emailing them several times proof of my insurance. They got it in their head that my policy had been canceled. It's not, I have my insurance taken out of my bank account automatically every month with no interruptions. These idiots keep saying they haven't got my proof of insurance that I sent like almost 10 times already. There is definitely bad communication within their company and no one gets the memo yet they are trying to make me pay for extra insurance because they messed up and can't get they stuff together. And I'm sure they are going to be crooked thieves and try to tack it on somewhere along the line. Do not waste your time getting a loan here, worst than bank of America.

VERY INCONSISTENT. I have an auto loan through Altana and had an agreed date to make monthly payments. I am about 5 months in and every single month they pull money out of my account earlier and earlier causing massive overdraft fees. Unnecessarily disorganized, unprofessional and disrespectful. Do not get an auto loan through these guys. They will fudge with your money, credit and livelihood.

Great place to bank. Credit Unions are always the way to go but working with Altana has been amazing. They have big bank technology with a small, personal feel. Love that I can get to a real person on the phone within seconds. wouldn't bank anywhere else.

The customer service is outstanding they have savings programs to help you with saving for vacations, boats and when it comes time to buy a car they can pie approve you for a new car our Even a boat I always try to get a local credit union when I come into a new town it's always nice to have a financial institution behind you
