      Spaghetti al Cartoccio ($25) - 4.5 stars
The sauce for this seafood pasta wrapped in paper was delicious! It was flavorful and didn't have a fishy taste at all. Lots of ingredients with relatively little pasta, but it left me with enough room for dessert and I didn't feel stuffed after so it's probably a good thing in retrospect. I'm not a fan of spaghetti so I'd try asking for a different noodle the next time.

      Bismarck ($23) - 4 stars
The pizza flavors weren't very appealing to me - everything seems to have cheese and the meats available are preserved (I love the grilled salmon pizza at Peperoni) - and I was more in the mood for pasta, but my plus one picked this. The ham, mushroom, cheese and egg combination can't go very wrong I suppose! The crust isn't really thin, but overall it was pretty good. It was larger than the 12" large pizza at Peperoni. Huge!

With the Entertainer app we paid $34 after GST and service charge. The bread served at the start was toasted and soft inside but I much prefer fresh bread. The ambience was cute - great place for a date.

Al Borgo is a little restaurant tucked away in Alocassia Apartments. I was there on a weekday night and it was not crowded at all, which is nice for conversation and a date night. There's al fresco seating as well, but I elected to sit inside because you do still hear the cars and traffic as it's right along Bukit Timah Road.

Service was impeccable, food was good and quite generous in portion - we had the squid ink pasta which had lots of seafood hidden in the black and quite yummy sauce. The calzone was okay, a huge portion with quite spongy crust, with mushrooms and cheese and the tomato sauce on the side.

Not too pricey, nice ambiance and decent food, i would recommend this place for couples or groups of friends who want a quieter spot to dine and catch up at.

Nice italian restaurant near the Stevens MRT. The pizza was quite good (S$22-28). The restauant takes part in the Entertainer discount for 2017 (for on site dining) and also Deliveroo home delivery. I will not hesitate to order a few pies the next time we don't feel like cooking at home.
Service on site was spot on although the physical dimensions are a little funky as the kitchen cuts across the floor plan, which leaves a row of tables down a small corridor. Otherwise the main dining area was fine. The the al fresco patio seemed to be out of commission as of Feb-17.

Atmosphere is very chill, service is attentive and efficient. I've only gotten pizza here so far and it is the bomb. The rest of the menu looks great to and I plan to try othere dishes, but always succomb to the allure of the pizza.

Just moved to Singapore and wanted to find a quiet place to relax on a weekday night. This place fit the requirements so we walked in, not knowing what to expect. Italian food, all right, but with an Asian flair! Loved the mats on the ceiling - reminding you where you are and why you love exploring this amazing city with all it has to offer. Then there's the kind service with helpful suggestions - wow! Really wonderful. For dinner I enjoyed the penne arabiatta - spicy and flavorful, really perfect. Dining partner enjoyed the cheese filled ravioli and loved that as well. A good selection of wine available if you want some. I asked for a Negroni, a mixed drink made with gin, and gosh! the proportions were just like I make it for myself at home, complete with fresh orange slice garnish. Could not have asked for better. Dessert was the classic tiramisu, one portion shared - not a big dessert, but just right to cap off the meal. And the espresso is the real deal, a tiny cup of concentrated coffee essence. Really a great place. Just note that on weekends or special holidays they do get busy so you may want to call ahead. Can't wait to return!
