Acocotli Mexican Cuisine

This is a very unassuming place with inside seating for about 20. Service was great as you are greeted as soon as you walk in and the food is brought to your table hot. This place is a five star all around. The food was delicious and the price was great. $11 or so per plate. The chips are brought out warm and fresh. The salsa had a great flavor but wasn't spicy. I like spice but my wife is not a big fan so she loved it.

The food has no flavor unless you douse it with the salsa, which is decent. Nothing is spicy!!

I get one thing here the shredded taco it is awesome. Dine in get free chips and salsa which is pretty good fresh made chips. Very friendly staff and it is very clean inside.

1st time... great food, friendly, and clean. We bought chicken tacos (not greasy) and a shredded beef burrito with lettuce and tomato - GOOOOD!!!!!! Hot and mild salsa was also delicious. A new favorite stop.

The service was really great, the place was a bit small but the service was quick. Ordered a carne asada burrito made supreme. The supreme part made it better with the green sauce and melted cheese. It was the meat that was average. If we come back will have to try something else.

We were ahead of the Friday night crowd. Boy they are busy after work. The service is superb and the food is excellent. I highly recommend Acocotli. We had a taco salad which is the best I have had and a chili rellano plate which also great. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I ATE THE WHOLE BURRITO!

We decided to try Acocotli for the first time tonight. Oh my goodness...what took us so long to try it? We've found our new, go to place for Mexican food. We ordered a ground beef burrito with red sauce, a carnitas burrito with red sauce, and guacamole and chips to go. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh!

The restaurant is clean and the lady that helped me was very nice. The restaurant was busy with phone orders and people coming in and out picking up food. I can't wait to try other items on their menu. My wait for food was not long, even with all the other to go orders.

I don't give out many 5 star ratings on Yelp, but this is the exception. It should be more of a 4 1/2.

This is in a strip mall and the tables and chairs are average. But the food tastes like something you'd find at a great, expensive Mexican restaurant! All four of us loved our meals!! Everything was great.

The only minor drawback would be the to-go style aluminum pans they serve it in.

I'd go there every month, but it's a two hour drive from our house!

I had the tamale/shredded beef combo plate, it was so delicious! The beans and rice were on point! I didn't take a picture of the taco, but it was huge! The salsa and chips is really good and so fresh! The owners are so nice and welcoming! Love it and will be back!

Great food. Their beans are delicious.
Really can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Kind staff!
