Jordan Henderson is expected to underline his desire to leave Al-Ettifaq in a meeting with the club on Sunday.

Ajax are among the clubs keen on the 33-year-old. There is also interest from Germany, Italy and the Premier League.

The former Liverpool star only made the move to the Saudi Pro League during the summer window, but the club has struggled in recent months under head coach Steven Gerrard and currently sits eighth in the table after over two months without a win.

Free agent Jesse Lingard has sacked his agents as he looks to secure a deal with a new club.

The former England star is thought to be frustrated with a number of contract offers failing to develop during the six months Lingard has been out of action.

The 31-year-old has been without a club since leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer. He has trained with West Ham and Al-Ettifaq, and is thought to have attracted long-range interest from a handful of Ligue 1 clubs, and Premier League side Everton.

Fulham have been offered the chance to sign Nemanja Matic who is looking to leave Rennes.

The former Manchester United midfielder, 35, still has a house in west London from his time at Chelsea.

Matic's time at Rennes is believed to have come to an end after the player was unable to find a nearby international school for his children to attend.

Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell is attracting interest from Middlesbrough, Millwall and Bristol City.

Cresswell has made just four Championship appearances for the Yorkshire side, and has failed to imprint himself in head coach Daniel Farke's plans.

Farke reportedly has a problem with the player's attitude and mindset, and when asked about Cresswell's consistent lack of involvement for the side on Thursday, the manager said that 'the ball is in (the player's) court'.

'It's just you could sense Charlie was not overly happy with this situation. Sometimes he was travelling with us and I felt he wasn't really switched on and focussed,' Farke added.

'We spoke quite openly and honestly about it. I want my players to be honest.

'He's a professional, there's never a problem with him, but it's not like he's fully committed and fully aware.

'He won't be picked by me until he's ready, also mentally ready.'
