Celebrating San Isidro Labrador Day And The Acequia Traditions Sunday Afternoon In Chimayo

People of all ages joined the New Mexico Acequia Association, Barrios Unidos and the Chimayo Museum for the 2nd Annual San Isidro Day event at the Chimayo Museum. Chimayo. The intergenerational event included a procession and water blessing, community garden planting, music and the Teatro Acequiero performance of their play about San Isidro, as well as activities such making seed balls led by Los Maestros del Norte.
