Automatic sliding doors are convenient and are a great way to improve your entrance’s functionality and esthetic. Many customers also feel much safer with sliders as they come equipped with safety beam sensors as well as dual acting motion detecting sensors to prevent any unforeseen injuries caused by the misuse of doors.

Sliding doors also have many different options available that most people are not aware of. They can be set to one-way mode, reduced open, hold open, or night mode and can be integrated easily with electric locks and card reader systems. They can be offered in glass, aluminum or steel and can be fire rated.

Single Sliding

Single Slide Fixed Sidelite – One moving door / one is fixed. Fixed door does not break open. (Mostly Interior)
Single Slide Full Breakout – One moving door / one is fixed. Both door panels break open. (Mostly Exterior)
Surface Mount Single Slide – Slider is mounted onto the wall instead of inside of the opening and there usually isn’t a fixed door as the active panel slides in front of a wall. (Not shown above)
Single sliding sliders range from 7ft up to 9ft and have to have a minimum height of 90″. They can also be made with transoms.

Bi-Parting

Bi-Parting Fixed Sidelite – Two active doors slide away from each other and break open. The fixed Doors do not break open. (Mostly Interior)
Bi-Parting Full Breakout – Two active doors slide away from each other and break open. The fixed doors also break open. (Mostly Exterior)
Bi-Parting Surface Mounted – Slider is mounted onto the wall instead of inside of the opening and there usually isn’t a fixed door as the active panels slide in front of a wall. (Not shown above)
Bi-parting sliders range from 9ft up to 14ft. They can be custom made larger than 14ft and have to have a minimum height of 90″. They can also be made with transoms.

Telescoping

Telescoping – 2 Sliding doors / one fixed door. 2 active doors slide together to provide a 2/3 door opening size. Perfect application for smaller width openings as it increases the clear opening size to 2/3 of the width rather than 1/2 width with a single slide.

Drive-Thru Windows

We also service and install automatic drive-thru windows for restaurant applications. Our automatic drive-thru windows come with a built in air curtain and have a body sensor for a hands-free opening as well as an auto lock feature upon close.

If an automatic window isn’t your jam, we even offer manual drive-thru windows where you can effortlessly push and pull the door open.

We provide many styles of drive-thru window applications. Their configurations are almost identical to the automatic sliding doors mentioned above.

Modernization Kit

If your automatic sliding door has lots of problems or has an old out dated analog system there may be HOPE. If the aluminum, glass & header is in good shape we can leave all that in and replace the motor and electronics.

We replace the motor, control board, belt, activation sensors and switches bringing the safety up to code and your slider into this decade. We look at the shape of the wheels, thresholds & bottom guides and replace if necessary to give you a smooth ride.
