GBEHZOHNGAR FINDLEY’s ALLY ADONIE GREAVES’ RESIGNS FROM WEAH’s GOV’T

IPNEWS: Reports reaching Independent Probe says, the Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Adonie Greaves has resigned from the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC)-led government of President George Manneh Weah.

According to a communication to the President of Liberia, the resignation takes immediate effect as of today June 13, 2023.

Adonie Greaves is a staunch supporter of Ex-Minister Milton Gbehzohngar Findley who recently endorsed theCummings-Brumskine Ticket in Buchanan.

The decision of Findley to let go of Weah for Cummings created serious disarray between Pres. Weah’s supporters and Findley’s supporters.

Before Adonie Greaves’ resignation, staunch supporters of Findley including Austin Spiller, Maxwell Vah, and others who were taken to Government through Findley’s recommendation, reaffirmed their support to Pres. Weah distancing themselves from Findley’s endorsement.

Adonie Greaves who lately entered the Country after his colleagues’ decisions seems not to favor Weah over Findley, something that has led to his resignation.

Greaves didn’t give reasons for his resignation according to a copy on social media.

Political pundits have described Greaves’ resignation as a way to continue his loyalty to Ex-Minister Findley who has been his long-time ally.

Our Grand Bassa reporter reached out to Mr. Greaves who confirmed that he filed his resignation from the CDC government. (By Elton Wroinbee Tiah,  ableejaynews@gmail.com)
