What is the difference between chorizar and afanar and robar ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
What is the difference between chorizar and afanar and robar ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
Solo españoless nativos por favor. Me gustaría saber si usáis estas palabras en España y si son comúnes o no. Gracias de antemano.

No conozco el término Chorizar. Afanar es lo mismo que robar. Afanar es un término muy informal. Sólo úsalo con amigos.

afanar significa robar en Argentina pero no se si se dirá así en otros países, chorizar nunca escuché.

Afanar es típico de Argentina y Uruguay. En España no las he escuchado pero alguien que haya vivido más tiempo allá tal vez sepa más.

Una amiga de España acaba de usar afanar entonces es seguro que se usa afanar en España, pero estaba muy suspechosa de chorizar. Es algo de un libro donde muchas palabras son de México y nunca he oído chorizo usado como un verbo antes. jaja

Recordé algo! No es Chorizar es "chorear" y es lo mismo que afanar y robar. Ej aquel hombre me choreo/robó/afanó el celular. afanar y chorear no debes usarlas en ámbitos formales.

Ah - Acabo de buscar chorizar en Spanishdict.com y dice que significa "to swipe or pinch" (robar) en España como expresión colloquial. Es extraño.

Yo soy de España y nunca he escuchado "afanar", seguramente se utilice poco.
Y "chorizar" y "choricear" (yo utilizo y he escuchado más este último) son lo mismo. Viene de la palabra "chorizo" (un tipo de embutido típico de aquí). "Chorizo" coloquialmente significa "ladrón".
"Chorear" tampoco se utiliza en España, eso es en Latinoamérica.
Y "robar" es el verbo normal, los otros son slangs.

@Castellano jajaja la palabra chorro es Líquido o gas que sale con fuerza por una abertura(él me lanzo un chorro de agua) pero nosotros le decimos así al ladrón.

@smartbitte Sí - he aprendido chorro recientemente - a stream of something, un chorro de algo - pero es muy interesante que en tu país se usa para ladrón. No comprendo la conexión.

@Castellano jajaja ni yo pero bueno es el término coloquial muy gracioso no?a me olvidé de decirte que chorra le decimos a la ladrona no creó que importe pero me parece bien decirlo.

@Castellano Utilicé "slang" porque la palabra española (jerga) suena muy raro y nunca lo decimos xD Decimos simplemente "palabras coloquiales" o "palabras de un país/ciudad o zona en general".
