@eijanaio "Perder" es cuando no encuentras un objeto y "extraviar" es lo mismo pero es más formal.
ejemplo:
- Perdí mi cartera.
- Extravíe mi cartera.
"Despistar" es otra cosa, es hacer que una persona pierda una idea, pista u orientación sobre algo o alguna situación.
ejemplo:
- Hablé con Laura para despistarla.
En este ejemplo, Laura posiblemente tenía una pista o sospecha sobre algo y yo hablé con ella y le di información errónea o confusa para que se confundiera, entonces yo la despiste.

Extraviar: hacer que algo o alguien pierda su camino, dirección u orientación.
Perder: dejar de poseer un objeto o bien material.

Cómo notarás, ambas se pueden utilizar por igual,dando a entender que se perdió/extravió algo 😅
Despistar: Cuando haces que alguien pierda la pista o el camino.

También se utiliza despistar para indicar que alguien es muy distraído
ejemplo
Dany es muy despistado (distraído), siempre está perdiendo sus llaves.
