"Ojalá, espero que sí, espero que así sea, si Dios quiere" and "eso espero" are interchangeable, if you use any of those you'd be expressing your longing for something to happen
"Tal vez, quizá, a lo mejor" and "puede ser" are interchangeable too, but if you use any of those, you wouldn't be expressing your wish for something to happen but you'd be just expressing that something could happen, no matter either if you want it to happen or not.

I think they're synonyms but you should write "a lo mejor" as three words
