Srian singer Asala Nasri is doing well despite rumours that she may have a serious health problem.

The singer said her recent trip to the US was for a medical check-up, since she was getting bad headaches. The test results were good and the singer was reassured that there was nothing to worry about.

The only instructions that were given to her was to take some time away from work. Asala may be able to take a break now that her second album is soon going to be launched.

She's currently recording her new songs in the Gulf dialect. Her first album in the Gulf dialect was launched in 2006. The album, titled La Tikhaf was a big hit. We hope this album is just as good!

Saad versus Wehbe

Lebanese singer Rola Saad seems determined to drag on her dispute with fellow singer Haifa Wehbe for as long as possible. Rola recently announced that she has declined an invitation extended by TV presenter Sawsan Al Sayed to reconcile the two singers. The singers have pending lawsuits against one another claiming defamation. Meanwhile, it doesn't seem that Haifa is too eager to make amends with Rola either, since she always says that she's too busy with her career and personal life to worry about such matters.
