Trust the process. I know it can be hard but God has always got you even when it doesn't look like it. The devil is quite relentless but the only way he wins is if you quit & give up. I know it can be very tough. Trust me I do. And sometimes you dont even have a clue of what to do next or how to go about it. And thats ok because God does. He has a plan & it always come together for the best for you. I know the process can be hard, demanding draining & you wonder if you can go on or how to. Just keep it moving. It will all come together. it always does. Why do you think you are under attack? Because you have greatness loading & the only way to stop you is you quitting. Only you can stop you.
I remember hearing something Denzel Washington said once that If the devil leaves you alone, then you should be worried because it means you are going nowhere (paraphrasing). Whether it is business, career relationship or all at the same time, just keep going & keep praying. Focus on the gains & positives in your life & worry less about the gaps & negatives (easier said than done I know but you have to find a way to cope with the pressure). Your creator is working on the gaps. And the thing is, there will always be gaps till death. No one has it all perfect don't be fooled. Don't imagine your problems are more than the other person no matter how they look to have it together. And in this social media & voyeuristic age, I know the pressure is worse. Just focus on the gains in your life & keep at it.
I have dark days & bright days. I have days I don't think I can go on again & Days I feel like superman. Both good days & bad days all pass. Whatever you are going through, good or bad, it shall pass. Don't get carried away or feel defeated I used to think it was about me. It's all God. Yes I have to do my part by working hard, staying the course, showing up & believing. But the timing & the scale of the outcome belongs to Him.
I fundamentally believe & refuse to give up the notion that good wont be rewarded & same for bad. No matter how long it takes. So as draining as being good can be, I still choose it and I trust the fertility of nature in repaying investments (good & bad).multiple folds.
Imagine Tiger Woods in this video & how he must have felt after the last shot. Now see this shot, imagine what Nike must have paid after this shot. God is a Diva and His Grace is always sufficient.

DR S.R.A Macaulay (Of Blessed Memory) was such a major influence in Chemical Engineering University program in Nigeria. Along with others like Professors Ogunye & Sanni. They laid a solid foundation for the profession in Nigeria. I was lucky to have been taught/mentored by all of them. Dr Macaulay loved to teach & did it with so much joy. He was a good man & treated everyone like a star.
I have been blessed to work with great bosses & teams almost 3 decades across several industries. I have had the luxury of learning from icons both closely & from afar on how to birth ideas & execute vision. I have learned from their successes & failings and boy I have had my fair share of both. For me Chemical Engineering is a life long love affair. Over the course of my career I have successfully led teams to deliver Terminals, Power & Gas plants, Palm Oil refinery & more. I have been blessed by God to be part of history in Ghana & Nigeria on these projects. Now I can add Oil refinery to that list.
Despite my Doctorate degree in Finance, I am an engineer at heart. When you marry that with my obsession for Africa & its youth, you will appreciate my immense joy & gratitude to God, my team, Federal Government of Nigeria, my bankers & Investors; as the First white products were trucked out of our Refinery on May 12, 2023. I am humbled & emotional. This is a win for Nigeria. For everyone who was told you don't matter or your ideas & efforts are rubbish. For everyone who played a role in bringing this to life from the beginning to where we are. I am grateful. To my family & friends, I am indebted to you. Your sacrifices support & prayers are a huge part of this story.
Life is a journey, Some people will start with you but won't finish. Some will come at the end when you are out of steam & help you get over the line & in some rare cases, some will be there all the way. It is all destiny. Irrespective of the pain & disappointments, each event is a learning point & another dot in life that will connect. This 3 year journey has taken blood, sweat & tears. For me, this is one journey that has shaped me in many ways.
To the whole world, Duport Midstream Energy Park is open for business. Our Energy park is a lot more than a refinery. Over the coming months, we will start processing gas, compressing & selling CNG, provide power to the community & other industries, deploy tier 4 data centre operations all from our Egbokor location in Edo state. We are not getting carried away. Our feet are solidly grounded & we continue to learn from our advisors & partners. The refining at our energy park is only a start but in this world where lies, evil & fake news have become so loud, I have learned to celebrate victories & triumphs of truth no matter how small so that a younger me out there knows it will be ok. Just hold on to God & focus on progress not perfection. Don't give up. Magic happens

How are you? I used to be able to answer genuinely & impulsively. My responses will usually be spot on & captured the true state of my existence. Nowadays I struggle to. How am I? Most days it depends? Sometimes even within a day, I am several things and that can be stressful and draining.
So life is not fair. Nothing new. People are not what or who you think they are no matter how long you have known them. Things will not always go the way you hope or want. Not new again. Good isn't always rewarded & bad sometimes win even if momentarily. Its called Life. Life happens & it can be painful, extremely hurtful & difficult. But is difficult bad? And is being alive alone not a great gift?
Every great thing has come at significant sacrifice & pain. From Abraham to Elon, growth comes at a cost. It is the law of life. Pain & difficulty gives us a chance to learn new ways of doing & not doing things but most importantly, pain gives you a chance get to know more about yourself.
Growth is painful & difficult. And when you are going through it, it doesn't feel like growth. It often feels like you are failing. Imagine how a seed that has been planted in earth must feel. Pure darkness & mositure before it breaks through into sunlight & spreads life & beauty all over the same earth that held it captive. Some seeds take weeks & some years. There is no telling how long your planting will take but you have to trust the process. You have to trust your Creator. You have to keep faith in His promise. You have to keep going even if you don't know where to go or how to. Just don't give up. I know first hand how tough keeping faith despite realityis. I am going through a growth phase too & despite my past experiences with transitions & growth, this episode has tested everything I know & everything I am. I have & am still learning new things & getting to know the new me. The emotional, mental & spiritual range demanded for this growth has been beyond my wildest imagination. All that kept me going is faith & love. Faith in God's promise & support of my loved ones.
So how am I? I am grateful & blessed. I look back now at all the pain points & set backs over the last year & see how the dots connect in a grand design way beyond my Imagination, I realize how lucky I am despite my bruises, heartbreaks & disappointments. God really is a Diva.
If you are lucky to have people who love you, allow them console, fawn & worry about you even if you dont think they fully see your demons or grasp how dire the situation is (which is never as serious as our minds play them up to be no matter the pressure or noise). The support will help you keep going when your tank is empty.
So as April comes to comes to an end, I wanted to share this message to encourage someone reading this & tell them to hang in there.God is at work. You are being planted. And when anyone ask you how you are, tell them you are blessed as your creator only paints masterpieces and you are one on the making.
