Found a better view of OrionsAngel’s Candy Cabs’ Bezels which is a quick fix.
Duimon Game Park GP32
I thought a dessert theme of variations would go well with Duimon’s great looking GP32 graphic.

Thanks to @Duimon for the tips on Mega Bezel Reflection, I think I can now do the [No Bezel] variation. I have a few other things to do first.
HSM_BZL_OPACITY = "0.000000"
HSM_BZL_WIDTH = "300.000000"
HSM_BZL_HEIGHT = "300.000000"

HSM_REFLECT_RADIAL_FADE_HEIGHT = "30.000000"

It seems the default was based off the keys and text, so I decided to go for the case and system logo.

I have been messing around a little with the No Bezel variants settings. I have found the general Global settings and will be mainly focusing on it tomorrow.
It’s more because I like things to look more uniformed but that stems from my OCD. lol
I can understand that, because I have a hint of “OCD” as well. I was mainly thinking of overlays that have different cabinets and multiple different colors with them. Just keep the color differences but pick one of the cabinet side styles.
Finished with the No Bezel variations of Duimon’s graphics, I only did the variations on consoles. Some of the shaders look better with the night variant. The Global settings:
HSM_ASPECT_RATIO_ORIENTATION = "1.000000"
HSM_ASPECT_RATIO_MODE = "2.000000"
HSM_NON_INTEGER_SCALE = "92.169861"
HSM_BZL_OPACITY = "0.000000"
HSM_BZL_WIDTH = "200.000000"
HSM_BZL_HEIGHT = "200.000000"
HSM_BZL_OUTER_CORNER_RADIUS_SCALE = "20.000000"
HSM_FRM_OPACITY = "0.000000"
HSM_REFLECT_CORNER_FADE = "5.000000"
HSM_REFLECT_CORNER_FADE_DISTANCE = "10.000000"
HSM_REFLECT_GLOBAL_AMOUNT = "200.000000"
HSM_REFLECT_GLOBAL_GAMMA_ADJUST = "1.300000"
HSM_REFLECT_FULLSCREEN_GLOW = "0.000000"
HSM_REFLECT_RADIAL_FADE_WIDTH = "20.000000"
HSM_REFLECT_RADIAL_FADE_HEIGHT = "20.000000"
The oval screen like shape is pretty cool. It’s similar to some old TV sets.
I am thinking about adding a “Glow” to @soqueroeu’s TV Backgrounds, curved only.
Edit: I could do scanline and glow changes too.
I tested out the settings on the Flat TV Backgrounds to see what it would look like. They look really good too so I thought why not and do them too.
Thanks to @HyperspaceMadness update, I should be able to do @OrionsAngel outline variants of Console Overlays.
I just added the changes to @soqueroeu’s TV Backgrounds on Github. I added the Diffuse Image to get the “shine” on the screen. I also added a pure black image to get the right effect on all the backgrounds.
Setting Additions
HSM_TUBE_DIFFUSE_OPACITY = "20.000000"
HSM_TUBE_DIFFUSE_IMAGE_COLORIZE_ON = "0.000000"
HSM_CAB_GLASS_LAYER_ORDER = "4.000000"
HSM_CAB_GLASS_MASK_MODE = "2.000000"
HSM_CAB_GLASS_SCALE_MODE = "1.000000"
g_lum = "0.250000"
g_cntrst = "-0.250000"
glow = "-0.750000"
shadowMask = "9.000000"
maskstr = "0.800000"
CabinetGlassImage = "../../../../Graphics/Soqueroeu-TV-Backgrounds/TV Panel.png"
TubeDiffuseImage = "../../../../Graphics/Soqueroeu-TV-Backgrounds/TV Light.png"
I have finished with @OrionsAngel Console Outline Variants. The shaders before have been renamed to [Color] and the outlined ones are named [Outline].
If I can figure out a reasonable name change than I will be adding the glare and glow to non-cropped TV Backgrounds.
Edit: Done, so I will be releasing these next.
All of the shaders have been renamed and placed on Github. I placed all the day and night versions together, if I didn’t than some would have had only two files in their folder.
I was messing around with the Logo Intro and thought that, with some settings changes, it would go well with the TV Backgrounds. And with those settings it would load only when the shader loads so it looks like the TV is being turned on.
Here is the settings for anybody who wants to test it out.
HSM_INTRO_WHEN_TO_SHOW = "2.000000"
HSM_INTRO_SPEED = "325.000000"
HSM_INTRO_LOGO_BLEND_MODE = "0.000000"
HSM_INTRO_LOGO_OVER_SOLID_COLOR = "0.000000"
HSM_INTRO_SOLID_COLOR_VALUE = "0.000000"
Edit: Found a problem with PSX TV so I will be fixing that too.
The Intro has been added to the TV Backgrounds and all the aspect ratios have been set to Horizontal. To get the effect when loading the game just Shaders > Save > Save Core Preset.
Edit: I thought of adding a 03 at the top right of the Intro and added it.
I thought that the systems that use composite or better TV Backgrounds would be better with Video 1 Intro. I will be able to do it once I can figure out what font style to use.
Edit: I think I did it.
I thought what I specifically wanted to do with the Logo Intros. I am going to set the old style CRTs, the ones with 03 LED at the bottom, and set those to use 3 Intro. All the other TV Backgrounds I am going to be setting the Video 1 Intro.
I changed the font of the 03 to the same as the Video 1 font and changed it to 3. The CRTs that have the 03 at the bottom LEDs’ opacities will be set to 0.
Edit: Intro changes have been added to Github.
