The Hills Have Eyes Blu-ray

The Hills Have Eyes Blu-ray Review

The Hills Have Eyes Collection Blu-ray

I am collecting horror movies this October and I thought I saw that "The Hills Have Eyes" have been released but I don't see it anywhere on Amazon?? Anyone know. I see the sequel has been released and what about the first movie?

Paul

It's not unrated otherwise I'd import.

I really likes this movie. It's my favorite remake. I prefer this to the original.

Eventually, when you guys do cave in...lol

You'll get to truly experience the movie with lossless audio...so many discrete effects especially in the 'daddy' scene when the father makes his way back to the gas station alone....as well the gunshots are ridiculously real-sounding

Can someone who has imported it confirm whether or not it is the unrated version? Amazon has both covers pictured.

The coverart of my BD doesn't look like that but it is definitely the Unrated cut (I have the unrated on DVD and it's exactly the same.) I got it from Amazon.co.uk

I dunno but your copy has "The Version to Die for" on the cover. I remember the DVD having the unrated written in blood. Promo artwork? Perhaps Fox changed the artwork due to some countries having a problem with the blood splatter being shown in public view? Just guessing here...

Is your copy 107 minutes long? Both the Austria and UK releases have the same runtime according to this very site but Amazon claims 104 minutes?

I dunno, but I like how the cover has "Unrated" written in big letters, and then the ratings listed down in the right-hand corner.

Maybe it has both versions on the same disc, but either way, I find it funny.

Just checked, mine is the 103 minute version. That's lame, I bought this from a member on here thinking it was the Unrated version. Looks like I'll need to make an Amazon UK order here (along with Twister and Saints and Soldiers)

the Uk BD is the 'Unrated' version, and its region free. crank the sound up, this one sounds awesome.

Yeah that's what I thought, but mine is the 103 minute version and has the "version to die for" cover, whereas others on here have 107 minute version with the bloody "unrated" cover

I'm confused

possibly different logos during the opening that added the extra 4 min. they might be getting their running-times from the cover or the actual disc? as the cover if quite often wrong.
