Native to Northern Mexico, this Maguey Chacaleño is distilled in El Platanar de Sianori, a community nestled in the Las Quebradas region of Topia Durango. Produced by Asis Cortés and Bildo Saravia - the latter a sixth-generation distiller - it is made enitely from Chacaleño, the local name for espadin, though this mezcal varies significantly from its Oaxacan cousins. Bold and earthy, it boasts notes of cracked pepper, charred sage and cedarwood. A unique, well structured mezcal.
