2016-17 (Seminole State College): Played just one season at Seminole State leading the Trojans in scoring and rebounding, averaging 13.9 points-per-game and 4.7 rebounds-per-contest … Also, Jacob shot 53.9 percent from the field and 43.4 percent from behind the three-point arc … Jacob scored double figures in 20-of-25 game played, and better than 20 points on four occasions, including a career-high 30-point affair in a 69-62 win at Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa on Jan. 30, 2017 … He also grabbed 10 rebounds in the same contest for the first of his four junior college double-doubles … For his efforts, Jacob was named a National Junior College Athletic Association All-Region 2 selection.
Prep Career: Jacob played his scholastic basketball at Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he averaged 11.5 points- and 4.9 rebounds-per-game for his career in 57 games played from 2014-16 … Helped guide the Wildcats to the Cap-8 Conference championship in 2015 and 2016 … During his senior campaign, Jacob netted 13.5 points-per-outing, 5.8 steals-per-game and 2.2 steals-per-contest for the Wildcats, who were ranked as high as No. 4 in the state by MaxPreps … Was tabbed a First Team Cap-8 All-Conference selection and was a member of the Cap-8 All-Tournament Team.
