Exhibit gallery is pleased to show for the first time in Europe a part of Zlism, the imaginary planet inhabited by the characters created by the acclaimed Chinese artist and designer Zoie Lam.
In the artist’s attractive landscapes, starry skies, rounded hills, succulent trees and giant mushrooms are transformed into animated beings that invite us to gaze at them benevolently, floating in “pointillist” spaces of vibrant colours. Zoie Lam’s work can be labelled as “contemporary romanticism”, where a tiny character is confronted with the contemplation of a boundless nature of distant and promising horizons.
