**************************************************************

IMPORTANT RESTRICTION: NO ABAQUS JOBS RUNNING AT 8AM ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 2009
Any ABAQUS jobs running at that time will lose their software licenses and will need to be aborted.

**************************************************************

ECN-supported Linux machines with ABAQUS should be operational by 8:30am on Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
ECN-supported Windows machines will be upgraded over a two-week period starting July 15th.

If you use an ECN-supported Windows machine and would like to get a working copy of ABAQUS onto your machine as soon as possible after July 15th, please consider volunteering to test the ABAQUS v6.9-1 package for the new license server port.
Email "windows@ecn.purdue.edu" with your machine name and contact information to be considered for testing ABAQUS.

If you are on a self-maintained machine, on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 you will need to edit the ABAQUS abaqus_v6.env file.

On a Linux machine, this file is usually found in <your_abaqus_install_dir>/6.8-1/site
On a Windows machine, it is usually found in C:\Program Files\ABAQUS\6.8-1\site
Note: the "6.8-1" folder will be another number if you have different version of ABAQUS installed.

Change this line:
  abaquslm_license_file="1703@mooring.ecn.purdue.edu"
to
  abaquslm_license_file="1736@mooring.ecn.purdue.edu"
