3DO Interactive Multiplayer is a console produced by The 3DO Company and released on October 4, 1993 in the United States.

Its initial price was 699 dollars, something that greatly hindered sales of the console, even with good hardware that price scared away potential buyers of it.

Its hardware was a 32-bit ARM60 processor running at 12.5MHz, 2MB of main RAM and 1MB of video memory.

Their best-selling game was Gex, with over a million units sold.

It ended up being officially discontinued in 1996, selling around 2 million units worldwide. A successor to it was even announced which would be the Panasonic M2, but this ended up being cancelled.
