Combination Chicken Shwarma and Gyros Plate – Served with Feta cheese salad, hummos and rice.

This is one of my favorite places to hit when in the capitol city. I have no idea why there is such a huge gathering of Greek/Lebanese restaurants in Baton Rouge but this is my favorite. One of the best Kibbeh (croquette stuffed with lamb) I have had anywhere. My go to item is the Chicken Shawarma and Gyro combination platter. Lamb is piled high along with feta salad, hummus, onions, rice pilaf. Have to mention the Lebanese Iced Tea, their version of the Arnold Palmer, sooooo good. Here is the secret recipe of the fountain of youth drink.

Lebanese Ice Tea
20 oz. fresh squeezed lemons, 1/4 cup of powdered lemonade, iced tea (they have a commercial machine, try 2 or 3 family size per gallon) and 2 tablespoons of rose water. He said to add the lemon juice to the tea till the color was right.
