Català: Cap de l’”Afrodita Sosandra”, possiblement una còpia de l’obra de bronze de Càlamis, situada a l’Acròpolis d’Atenes. Obra romana del segle II dC?
English: So-called Aspasia, female head of the Sosandra type. Marble, Roman artwork of the 2nd century CE (?) after a Greek original, perhaps the bronze statue by Calamis in the Athenian Acropolis (Pausanias 1:23, 2).
Elpinice, wife of Callias, probably servedas model to the original.
Français : Pseudo-Aspasie, tête de femme du type d'Aphrodite Sôsandra. Marbre, œuvre romane du IIe siècle après J.-C. d'après un original grec, peut-être l’œuvre en bronze de Calamis sur l'Acropole d'Athènes (Pausanias I, 23, 2)
