Majda becomes first South Sudanese to win Elite Model Look crown, pockets SSP 250 M
South Sudanese model Majda John Peter will pocket $500,000 after she was crowned the overall winner of 39th Elite Model Look event in Prague, Czech Republic last night.
Majda became the first South Sudanese model to scoop one of the world’s most prestigious modelling competitions.
Majda beat a large pool of entries drawn from all over the word.
She was crowned alongside Sergi Shan after the organiser narrowed the list to 30 finalists before settling on the duo from the initial list of thousands of applications.
For her victory, Majda secured a long-term contract with Elite Model Management, beside pocketing a hefty sum of prize money.
Elite Model Look is a yearly fashion modeling event held by Elite Model Management – an international model management group used to discover and launch female fashion models in the international fashion marketplace.
