The City of Chico is proud to operate Chico Regional Airport, a leading fully certified Part 139 airport within the Northern California region offering the aviation community a wide-array of facilities and services for utilization year-round. Through our Air Service Development initiatives, the City has been striving to restore commercial passenger air service to the Greater Chico Area.

How can I get to Chico Regional Airport?

Is aircraft parking available?

Overnight transient aircraft parking at Chico Regional Airport is available for $7 nightly and $45 monthly for single-engine aircraft and $10 nightly and $60 monthly for multi-engine aircraft.

Can I fly out of Chico Regional Airport?

Can I get a gate card at Chico Regional Airport?

Pilots and their relatives/associates, student pilots, aircraft renters, flying club members, tenants and their employees, city employees, and contract employees can obtain gate cards permitting access to the Airport Operations Area through the City of Chico. Under certain circumstances, endorsement from an authorized pilot, flight school, flight club or tenant must be attained to receive a gate card.

The City of Chico Airport Commission approved in January for aerial firefighting company Aero-Flite Inc. to assume the lease for the hangar property at 77 Piper.
