Enter the Ag Value and Total Asset Value into the calculator to determine the Ag Ratio; this calculator can also evaluate any of the variables given the others are known.

Ag Ratio Formula

The following formula is used to calculate the Ag Ratio:

Ag Ratio = (Ag Value / Total Asset Value) * 100

Variables:

  • Ag Ratio is the Agricultural Ratio
  • Ag Value is the value of agricultural assets
  • Total Asset Value is the total value of all assets

To calculate the Ag Ratio, divide the value of agricultural assets by the total value of all assets. Multiply the result by 100 to express it as a percentage.

What is a Ag Ratio?

The Ag Ratio, also known as the Albumin/Globulin Ratio, is a diagnostic test that measures the ratio of albumin to globulin in the blood. Albumin and globulin are two types of proteins that are found in the blood. Albumin is responsible for preventing fluid from leaking out of blood vessels, nourishing tissues, and transporting hormones, vitamins, drugs, and substances like calcium throughout the body. Globulin is a group of proteins that includes antibodies, which fight off infections and diseases. A healthy Ag Ratio typically ranges from 1.1 to 2.5. An Ag Ratio that is higher or lower than this range could indicate various health conditions. For example, a low Ag Ratio could indicate autoimmune diseases, liver disease, or kidney disease, while a high Ag Ratio could indicate dehydration, malnutrition, or certain types of cancer.

How to Calculate Ag Ratio?

The following steps outline how to calculate the Ag Ratio.

  1. First, determine the agricultural output ($).
  2. Next, determine the gross agricultural income ($).
  3. Next, gather the formula from above = Ag Ratio = AO / GAI.
  4. Finally, calculate the Ag Ratio.
  5. After inserting the variables and calculating the result, check your answer with the calculator above.
