Saro: The musical to see this festive season

Once again, the stage is set for the return of Saro the Musical and for the experience of the hilarious chaos of Lagos.

Saro is an enthralling musical from the stables of Bolanle Austen-Peters Production (BAP).

The well-written and perfectly delivered theatrical performance is returning on stage this festive season under the direction of Bolanle Austen-Peters, Nigerian foremost stage/movie producer and director.
It will stage at Terra Kulture Arena, Tiamiyu Salvage Street, Victoria Island, Lagos on December 22, 24, 26, 29 and 30, 2023. It will also open in the new year on January 1 and 2, 2024.

BAP is also promising exciting outing for theatre lovers as SARO the Musical marks its 10th anniversary this year.

The musical stages the story of four young men who, determined to break free from the yoke of frustration and lack of opportunities to explore their talents and realize their dreams, decide to embark on a journey to Lagos – the land of opportunity.

A devastating experience lands them in the lap of destiny, success ignites them and love fuels them.

The musical also highlights the spirit of Lagos and its the rich cultural heritage through music and dance. It is also a celebration of Nigeria’s cultural heritage on stage.
Speaking on the musical show, BAP noted that, “Saro the Musical” brings the everyday Lagos tales to the stage with a burst of laughter, music, and drama. It is a celebration of the city – the good, the bad, and the hilarious.

“So, join us for another round of fun and let us relive our danfo adventures together and laugh at the quirks that make Lagos, well, Lagos”, BAP urged.
The indigenous movie/theatre company also reminds potential visitors and theatre goers that “In Lagos, every day is a story, and Saro the Musical tells it best”.

The musical runs for 10 days; starting from December 22, 2023 to January 2, 2024 from 3pm to 7pm daily.
