This 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo is finished in Speed Yellow over black full leather, and it is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and an all-wheel-drive system. Equipment includes the Carbon Interior and Digital Sound Packages as well as 18″ wheels, auto-dimming mirrors, a rain sensor, yellow seatbelts, driver-seat power lumbar support, automatic climate control, and a Porsche CDR-220 stereo. The car spent its life in Ohio and Missouri before it was acquired by the current owner on BaT in September 2020, and it has subsequently been registered in Florida. This 996 Turbo has 6,500 miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Carfax report and a Florida title.
The 996 Turbo features wider rear bodywork, rear air intakes, and revised bumper covers in comparison to the contemporary Carrera, and this example is finished in Speed Yellow (L12H). Paint protection film has been applied to the nose and side mirrors, and paint chips and blemishes are present on the right quarter panel and rear bumper cover.
Silver 18″ turbo-twist wheels feature full-color Porsche crests and wear Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires. Braking is from red Porsche-branded calipers and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The power-adjustable seats are trimmed in black supple leather, and matching leather extends to the dashboard and door panels. The car was optioned with the Carbon Interior Package as well as carbon-trimmed shifter and handbrake levers, and other equipment includes driver-seat power lumbar support, a Porsche CDR-220 stereo, a Digital Sound Processing system, yellow seatbelts, and automatic climate control.
The leather- and carbon-trimmed steering wheel frames a centrally mounted tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 6,500 miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six produced 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque from the factory, which is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle.
