Featuring bodies styled and produced by Pininfarina in Italy, the Allanté was Cadillac's answer to European luxury roadsters like the Mercedes R129SL and the Jaguar XJS. Its straight lines and subtle creases initiated a restrained design language that Cadillac retained through the 1990s.
