Arvin police and community partners offer free car seat safety check on April 26

The Arvin Police Department, Assemblymember Dr. Jasmeet Bains, and other organizations are hosting a free car seat check on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Garden in the Sun Park, located at 201 North Walnut Drive.

Arvin police said in a release, “Properly installed and fitting car seats significantly reduce the risk of injury or fatality in the event of a car accident. Studies have shown that a large percentage of car seats are installed incorrectly.”

For the community, Arvin police are holding a free Car Seat Safety Check on Friday, April 26th.

Arvin police said the event is partnered with California State Assemblymember Dr. Jasmeet Bains, healthcare providers, and other community organizations.
