spesso si nega che la violenza sia ciò che ci lega,
quest’inquietudine che non si spiega, si seda,
mi preda, mi addenta, mi creda, mi invita alla resa,
mi invento stratega, la prego, si sieda,

an indolence that sometimes compels me,

it haunts me if I lose the grip,
it won’t just disappear, it grows,

as those who do not adapt, i struggle,
i lose heart, so please come along,
i won’t surrender any arms;
maybe running in tears could benefit me,
at least for a bit of a laugh about my distress,
but this is not the way to go,
i think i may cry, that’s true,
pathetic, i wouldn’t say no,
however, this is not the way for sure,
that’s true, i maybe have to cry,
but i think i’ll just get pissed off.
