Man spotted touching woman’s hip on Metro

A MAN was spotted touching a female passenger’s hip on a Metro train only days after a Party member was detained for indecently touching a woman’s thigh on a subway.
A video clip was uploaded to the Internet in which a man placed his hand on a woman’s hip on a Metro Line 1 train.
The woman noticed after about 1 minute. She turned around and stared at the man for a while before shifting her position.
The man then moved to the train door and exited at Shanghai Railway Station.
It was not known when the video was taken, but it went viral on the Internet yesterday.
Shanghai Shentong Metro Group, which operator’s the city’s subway network, said today that it is aware of the video. Company officials said they encourage women to shout out for help if such an incident occurs.
Earlier this week, Wang Keqiang was kicked out of the Party for indecently touching a woman’s thigh on a Metro Line 9. The 38-year-old was given an administrative detention and was sacked from his executive job at state-owned Jinjiang Shanghai Travel Agency.
