The Chronicles of Narnia is a British BBC-produced television serial that was aired from 13 November 1988 to 23 December 1990 and is based on four books of C. S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia series. The first series aired was The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in 1988, the second series aired was Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 1989 and the third series aired was The Silver Chair in 1990. This television serial was produced by Paul Stone and teleplayed by Alan Seymour. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was directed by Marilyn Fox, while Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and The Silver Chair were directed by Alex Kirby.

THE VISUAL INTERPRETATION FROM BOOK TO FILM IS PHENOMENAL! It is THIS JOINT COMPOUND, the interpreting the literature, the CHRONICLES, under its cantor into its light of VERY MAGICAL VERY STRANGE HALF BEAST HALF MAN DEMONSTRATION SO CHALLENGING TO BRING INTO LIFE INTO PICTURES....

I First saw the animated 1979 version of BOOK ONE ON PBS back in 1979 and ALWAYS WONDERED WHO ON EARTH COULD BRING THIS SERIES OF CHRONICLES,...sooo serious in its content as it almost goes right ALONG WITH THE HOLY BIBLE ITSELF BECAUSE IT IS THE HOLY BIBLE!!! but this one is for readers who DO TaKE THe WRITING OF THE HOLY BIBLE TO HEART!!!

and yes we have movies like the ten commandments and such English mockery

but THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA ...I know hollywood tried and tried with LEGEND by RIDLEY SCOTT and then the THOUSANDS UPON THOUSAND OF FANTASY HORROR MONSTER FILMS OUT THERE INCLUDING POLTERGEIST THAT COULD NOT BRING THE C.S.LEWIS ELoquence, his INNOCENCE his WORDS INTO MOVING PICTURES ....this bbc interpretation is perhaps the best next to the 1979 animated because they DID THE FAUN JUST LIKE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE!!!HELLO IT IS HALF BEAST AND HAVE MAN!!!!!(NO CLOTHES!!! HELLO!!!?)

they took the image so delicately and made it just PERFECT WITHOUT VULGARITY ADDED INTO THE HOLY TEXT OF THE BIBLE OR INSULTING THE WORLD WITH THIS STORY , which with much speculation could not can not be COMPUTER GENERATED ANIMATION!!! HELLO!! what on earth!!! IT MUST BE ALL HAND MADE ART !!!!!
because the CHRONICLES OF NARNIA IS THE HOLY BIBLE INTERPRETED AS A PIECE OF FINE ARTS!!!

Subject: Nostalgia!

I absolutely loved this version when I was a kid. I watched The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe over and over, but actually never knew there were other books made into this series! I just added them all to my Plex server and will watch them with my family around Christmastime. Thanks for uploading!
