The arcade pack which is supposed to be all Mame 2003 has a FBA 2012 romset mixed in that won't work in 2003. A couple of games aren't in the PlayStation category that I'm surprised are missing like Ridge Racer and Wipeout 3. No separate CPS1 2 and 3. They're all mixed in with Mame. Also, some of those games are hacks too. Other than that it's the best curated romset I have found.

I am just getting into retro gaming on an Ambernic RG35XX. I stumbled across this collection of games and I have had a great time using it. absolutely trouble free. just copy paste in to the SDXC card and boom. just like old time.

What's this best set? It's missing hundreds of nintendo games. Many of them would be fall under category "best" as many of them are actually hidden gems that there aren't many ppl would be able to play. Pick ur own sets of games from no-intro sets and the other sets.

The worst selection of games I've ever seen.
Many games have better versions on other consoles.
Many games have newer and better versions.
Many important games are not there!
The only good thing is the translated Japanese titles

I hope this is as good as i want it to be. A bit worried about what another reviewer said about the quality of some roms.

Imported in LaunchBox mostly good so far: N64, NeoGeo, SNES, and Saturn.


However these ones had a ton of issues: NES and Arcade. NES had a bunch of hacked ROMs and DS games in them. Arcade was a bunch of ROM’s not in LaunchBox database.

Still going to import PS1 and Dreamcast, but hard drive is getting full lol

Hello everyone!

I'd like to share my compilation of the "TOP 100" games for each gaming console. It's worth noting that in some systems, the number may vary since not all of them have a full hundred games. Additionally, for systems like MAME, with over 45,000 games, narrowing it down to just 100 games is almost an impossible task.

I manually created each compilation with the aim of always including the best games from each system and genre. This way, I've crafted a more balanced and diverse version of each collection. It's important to mention that, for instance, in the 100 most famous games for PSX, I didn't want the majority of the list to be comprised of games from the Final Fantasy series. While they are outstanding games, it wouldn't be appropriate for a list to primarily focus on a single saga.

I genuinely believe that this list will appeal to most gamers. However, if it doesn't, there's a straightforward solution: you can download a 100-game package and customize it to your preferences. This is especially convenient today since many portable systems use microSD cards, and it spares you from scrolling through an endless list of useless games when collecting complete sets.

As of now, my compilation covers over 40 systems, and I'm continuously working on updates. I also avoid including low-quality systems or home consoles that churned out numerous mediocre games with little to no value in the world of video games.

I hope you enjoy these compilations, and I'd appreciate your feedback and suggestions for further improvements.

i use this for majority of my roms, no viruses and all work well on the emulators i checked. the only thing is since they have ds roms i would add wii roms and ps2, but other then that perfect

I wanted to find a set that was handpicked to have the consensus best games of all retro consoles. I found this one at the right time. Thanks for compiling this. It takes a long time to find best of lists and compile everything. Simple to add and subtract any titles you personally want from here. 95% of the work is done. Thanks again.

I grabbed the Dreamcast portion of this set that's in .chd and i'm not sure what is going on with the CRC's but something doesn't seem right with them, not sure if the rest of the set has similar issues but something to keep in mind if you're looking at this set.

Yea i'm finding more corrupted games in this collection both God of War games for PSP are corrupted along with many others, i downloaded again to make sure something wasn't wrong on my end and still the same result..
