World Soccer Winning Eleven 11 (sometimes mislabeled as World Soccer Winning Eleven 2008 in Asia) also known as Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is an association football video game in Pro Evolution Soccer series by Konami. The game was announced on 18 June 2007. Its title is different from the other Pro Evolution Soccer games in that it is of a year and not a version; this was due to EA Sports' FIFA series naming their titles with two digit numbers (i.e. 07, 08) and in conclusion would seem that PES was a year behind FIFA (to non-fans which had no knowledge of the previous games of the franchise). It was released for Windows, Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360 And mobile. The game sold 6.37 million units worldwide. PES 2008 was succeeded by Pro Evolution Soccer 2009. This was the first game of the series for the Nintendo Wii And PlayStation 3.
The Japanese Version has added UK English (similar as PES 2008 Europe), it is the first time to include UK English. Memorial Match was removed after the Interface has overhauled. It was released on November 22, 2007. The Game Engine for PS2 does not utilize next-gen 360 engine, but it will stay same as from PES 6 Engine (similar as PC Version direct conversion)
Playlist Editor is added as well.
----Game Description----
PES 2008 (aka Winning Eleven 2008) features a brand new intelligence system, called Teamvision, that adapts and reacts to players own gameplay styles to ensure that the computer controlled opponents are always challenging and forcing the player to think and chance their style of play to avoid being out-thought by the game. It learns counter attacks that target your weaknesses and look to exploit any repetitive tactics players use. Defenders react better to danger, closing down the ball and charging at shots and the goalkeepers hold shots that are closer to them as well. Teammates make more intelligent runs into space and the close control has been sharpened to ensure quick and fluid passing and speedy attacks can be built. The next gen versions also feature extensive edit modes so players can completely customize their Winning Eleven 2008 experience.
----Teams----
You can create custom team for Other Leagues C after Konami failed to get the rights to the German Bundesliga. Of course you can create your own custom team (such as Revue Legends, PES Legends, etc.)
Here are the teams are included:

- Other Leagues C (Generic Team)
There is WE United and PES United team, these are fiction but some player names could be fake (e.g: Romaldinho) as not to be confused as Ronaldinho Gaucho.
