Luise Walker (Vienna, 09.09.1910 - Vienna, 30.01.1998): Austrian guitarist and composer. She studied with Josef Zuth, Jakob Ortner (Wiener Musikhochschule), Heinrich Albert, Miguel Llobet, Emilio Pujol and Andrés Segovia. From 1940 she became a teacher at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna.
She wrote a book: Ein Leben mit der Gitarre (1989).
Guido Santórsola (Canosa di Puglia, 18.11.1904 - Montevideo, 24.09.1994). Born in Italy, emigrated to Brazil at the age of 5. Violist and composer. Taught at the Conservatory of Sao Paolo, played in the orchestras of Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro. Later lived and worked in Uruguay.
Miguel Llobet (Barcelona, 18.10.1878 - Barcelona, 22.02.1938): world-famous Catalan guitarist. Took lessons from Francisco Tárrega. Taught himself to Maria Luisa Anido, José Rey de la Torre and Luise Walker, among others.
Alfred Uhl (Vienna, 05.06.1909 - Vienna, 08.06.1992): Austrian composer, violinist, conductor and teacher.
Hermann Ambrosius (Hamburg, 25.07.1897 - Enden, 25.10.1983): German composer and music educator. Became a member of Hitler's NSDAP from 1933 untill the end of the war. Wrote more than 500 compositions.
