Temperature Control: Set the temperature of your grill from a distance.
Pause: A special Grilla Grills exclusive feature that allows your smoker to function better when opening the lid to maintain your meal.
Troubleshooting Tips: See error codes and tips on how to solve them directly on the app to take care of issues as they arise.
Alarms: Set high and low alarms for the temperature of your grill, and the meat inside of it, so you never have to worry about overcooking that rack of ribs ever again.
Timers: Set timers for yourself directly on the app so you don’t need to play with third party apps that may or may not work.
Safety Features: Know when your grill is performing abnormally, before it becomes a problem.

Not receiving any notifications
The app appears not to be fully functional. I can adjust temperature set time and temperature. I receive no notifications. App will not save location. I have reset controller, removed app reinstalled app, deleted account reinstalled account.
Poor thermometer reading and poor app
Like many reviews, the thermometer is way off. If I’d had known this problem before hand I would bought a reqtec. I do have other thermometers to get by but that’s not the point- so don’t bring it up. If you sell a product that’s supposed to be accurate just make it that way. Next it’s the new app update. Well all that opens is a black blank screen, yeah that’s great. Hope this company figures it out because word of mouth is still the best referral program for it against a product.
I will say this, I have the silverback and the front shelf is a must have. The grill should just include it.
It’s fine?
For the purposes of this app, I would say it works fine with the hardware and makes adjusting things on the fly easy. BUT I do find it kind of ridiculous that I have to log back in as much as I do just to use my smoker. The only connection issues I ever had were because of my ISP router and the fact that it wouldn’t have a dedicated 2.4 GHz connection which is information that was harder to find than you would think on grillas website
