The ABFA Premier League restarted in all its glory after a two-week break from the much loved sport since the Under-20 Concacaf Cup was hosted at the ABFA Technical Centre.

There were wins for Old Road who blanked Parham 5-0, Greenbay Hoppers defeated John Hughes 3-0, while Garden Stars and Ottos Rangers played to a nil-all draw.

Old Road’s first goal came from the boot of the top striker in the league, Raheem Deterville who struck home in the 23rd minute, followed by Saviola Elva who scored in the 29th. Rodney Lawrence scored his first goal in the 44th minute while Jahiem Hazelwood scored in the 58th minute. His second goal came in the third minute of the extra time, as the team from south registered their ninth win from 12 games with the five-nil triumph.

In the final match of the evening between Hoppers and John Hughes, it only took two minutes for Kadeem Campbell to find the back of the net of the John Hughes goal.

John Hughes was able to keep Hoppers at bay for 84 minutes before Yasney Torres’ strike made the scoreline two-nil.

The final goal of the match came in the 93rd minute with a Jashine Lawrence strike.

On Monday SAP will clash with hosts, Pigotts, in the only ABFA Premier fixture.
