We are a team of experienced drug development professionals who take a relentless approach to finding and advancing the most promising therapeutic programs and precision medicine approaches.
We started Algok Bio to bridge the gap between drug discovery and commercialization, focusing on candidates ready to enter preclinical studies. This is a transition point that many in pharma find too risky, too early to invest in, and over-complex and expensive for novice discovery teams to successfully navigate.
At Algok Bio, we know what a successful lead looks like. That's why we in-license or acquire the most promising candidates for development and commercialization.
Our name reflects this approach. In Korean Algok means “grain”. Like the farmer who separates the inedible chaff from the nourishing wheat within, we sift through the many drug discovery projects to find the most promising candidates and get them ready for market.
